Frantic to justify my acquisition of some silver and gold spectator pumps by putting on them on Halloween weekend, I booked it up to United states Apparel the Friday of said week-end, 2 hours before a party.
Mission: get a hold of some shiny metallic goods with which to create a "star costume".
The store was well-staffed to handle last minute buyers of costumes and something staff member was really great at assisting me to create an appearance. I left with 2 sets of lame leggings (one gold, one gold), a pale gold skirt/top/something to wear as a premier, and was to my pleased way to a shop to find accessories in thirty minutes.
Kind customer support regardless of the frenzy, which was a bit of a shock. Really the only disappointment would-be that my manfriend destroyed my receipt and their return policy sucks major lollipops- they ought to at the least allow you to trade things for in-store credit the existing retail price.!
Besides that, this store is fine for a few essentials, even though the high quality, like their particular return plan, is lamer as compared to gold leggings that i am going to either Freecycle or work into the following year's Halloween costume. I bought products here that start fraying after annually. Boo.
