What started as a simple contribution to complete a health care centre in a little African town would be to be a life-changing partnership for the people of Southern Uganda as well as the Cotton On Foundation.
In November 2007, we found its way to Mannya village, Uganda. Known to be an area rife with HIV/AIDS and considered “Mission Impossible” by its regional diocese, Mannya was a residential area in need of help. Insufficient education, basic infrastructure and health care services had generated a village in desperate need of a helping hand.
Together with the Cotton upon Group associates in addition to incredible generosity of our clients, our company is now dealing with Ugandan communities and others globally in aiding to build a healthy and lasting future.
We offer our personal items in over 1, 000 Cotton upon Group shops globally, and all for the profits go back to the Cotton On Foundation to support those many in need of assistance. Its as simple as that.
We roll our sleeves up and get our hands dirty to help on our mates. We lean on the Cotton On Group resources to help provide jobs at the least expensive operating expense, while making certain all requirements are met within a realistic schedule … so we have some fun carrying it out.
Our projects are based on four pillars; wellness, knowledge, durability and infrastructure. These pillars had been produced by the us Millennium developing Goals and develop the basis of every project done because of the Cotton On Foundation.
Good Millennium Development Goals and our objective to build up 20, 000 academic locations in Southern Uganda by 2020, our company is helping decrease impoverishment and improve the life of these in need.
